Hi Mike,
I have read on these forums and heard on your seminar that adjust the backspacing/offset of a wheel (distance from where the centre bolts on to the inside bead of the inner half) affects where the weight is applied to the tyre and therefore can change where the tyre wears (across the width). Have I heard this right?
I cannot get my head around this - is the weight not applied to tyre at the two beads at the outside edges of the wheels?
Cheers, Mitch

You are correct in that is changes where the weight is applied to the tyre. The weight is applied through the outside of the wheel halves, but if you move the wheel center closer to one side, more of the weight is applied to that side.
