Hey guys I’m new to the micro world. When I first bought the car I had a friend help set the car up. I want to start setting it up myself as it never lasts to rely on someone else to set the car up and then you don’t learn anything that way. I’m looking to figure out the easiest way to set the car up for weekly racing. Where do you start with setting the torsion bars, stops, etc. for the front and back. I squared the car up and don’t think I set the torsion set up, up right. As the car sits a lot higher and straighter now. The car leaned pretty hard to the left and sat a lot lower then it does now. Thanks In advanced guys

Here is the easiest way to setup your car:

Chassis Setup Kit

If you have a Hyper, all of our setup sheets are listed on this page of our website.

As far as blocking the car, here is the procedure out of the manual:

3. Setting the Rear Torsion Stops or Springs
  • Place the smaller setup blocks between the rear axle and
    lower frame rail.
  • For a coil over chassis, with the rear blocks still in place, turn
the coil adjusters until the adjusters just touch the springs. This
is called the zero point. See the suggested setups to determine
how many turns to add or subtract from the zero point. A
mark may help you to make an accurate adjustment.
  • For a torsion chassis, zero the rear torsion stops by tightening
the jacker bolt on the stop with your fingers until it just touches
the frame. See the suggested setups to determine how many.
